Jahmry Gibbs puts up good numbers in Week 2 – NFL News

6 days agoDetroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs had a good week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, gaining 84 yards on 13 carries. Gibbs led the backfield in attempts and receptions and added seven catches for 22 yards. Despite being held out of the end zone, the first-round pick had 20 total touches and led Detroit's entire offense on Sunday. Gibbs has backed up his reputation as a first-round fantasy pick so far this year. Fantasy managers should have no problem using him as the RB1 from here on out, even if he splits runs with David Montgomery. The Alabama product has plenty of fantasy potential and has shown that on the field in the first two weeks of the 2024 season. Gibbs remains a must-win in Week 3 against the Arizona Cardinals.—Jacob Billingslea
