UPDATE: Fargo police release name of Saturday morning murder victim

FARGO, ND (KVRR UPDATE 9/22/24 4:20 p.m.) – Police release the identity of the man shot and killed in north Fargo early Saturday.

He is 25-year-old Jalab Moses from Fargo.

After the fatal shooting in the 1300 block of 8th Avenue North, police arrested 24-year-old Tyreik Taylor-Roberts, who admitted to shooting Moses.

He was taken into custody for murder without incident.

According to police, Roberts and Moses knew each other and had a verbal argument before the shooting.

A weapon was seized at the crime scene.

They say the investigation is ongoing and that no further information can be released at this time.

FARGO, ND (KVRR) – Police say a Fargo man has admitted to shooting another man in north Fargo around 1:15 a.m. Saturday.

They arrested 24-year-old Tyreik Taylor-Roberts after the fatal shooting in the 1300 block of 8th Avenue North.

He was taken into custody without incident.

A weapon was seized at the crime scene that was presumably used in the shooting.

The identity of the adult male victim has not been released.

The circumstances of the incident are unclear, police said.
