Northbound lanes of I-5 in Everett closed due to ongoing negotiations with murder suspect – KIRO 7 News Seattle

According to Everett police, the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 in Everett are closed as police negotiate with a murder suspect.

There are not many more details at this time, but according to Everett police, a shooting involving two men occurred along Casino Road.

One man was killed and one woman injured.

Police ended their pursuit of a suspect on Interstate 5, where they are now negotiating with the suspect.

At around 2:15 p.m., police opened the southbound lanes to traffic.
