12-year-old from Buckeye arrested for allegedly making threats against a Wisconsin school

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A girl in Buckeye was arrested for allegedly making threats against a Wisconsin school. Just days earlier, a boy was arrested Friday in Phoenix for threatening 12 schools in the Phoenix area, according to police.

On Sunday morning, Buckyee Police were contacted by the Milwaukee Police Department regarding an investigation into a threat at a school in their area. The Milwaukee Police Department found that the IP address was linked to a home in Buckyee.

Buckeye School officials went to the home, questioned a 12-year-old suspect, and collected evidence.

She was subsequently arrested and charged with serious crimes, including making terrorist threats.

There were no threats against Buckeye schools and the community is not in danger. No further information has been released about the incident or the investigation.

This is the latest incident in a nationwide series of arrests for threatening schools.
