26-year-old Brookhaven woman allegedly intentionally hit and killed man with her car – WSB-TV Channel 2

FAYETTE COUNTY, Ga. – A DeKalb County woman was arrested after she intentionally hit a man with her car and then drove away, according to police.

Shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, police were called to a pedestrian accident in the area of ​​E Stonewall Avenue at Lee Street in Fayetteville.

The investigation revealed that 26-year-old Danielle Loyd of Brookhaven and a man were arguing before Loyd intentionally hit the victim with her car and drove away.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. His identity was not released.

Fayetteville police and several other agencies were searching for Loyd and her black 2024 BMW I4.

At around 5:35 a.m. on Sunday, Loyd was found and arrested in Brookhaven. She was booked into the Fayette County Jail and charged with murder and other offenses related to the incident.
