Vehicle crashes into restaurant in Reynoldsburg, several injured

According to police, a vehicle drove into a restaurant in Reynoldsburg on Sunday evening, injuring several people.

The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. at O'Charley's on Baltimore-Reynoldsburg Road.

According to Violet Township Battalion Chief Jim Birdwell, a total of 12 people were injured and 8 were taken to the hospital.

Four of the victims went to nearby Mount Carmel for examination.

No life-threatening injuries have been reported at this time.

ABC 6 received the following statement from Clint Lautenschleger, Chief Operating Officer of O'Charley's:

There is no information about the extent of the injuries or the identity of the driver.

Birdwell told ABC 6 that while the building does not look good, it does not appear to have any structural damage.
