Former WWE Champion falls from the stands during Bears vs. Colts game

Although WWE is considered sports entertainment, there is still a strong connection between professional wrestling and competitive sports.

Recently, Indiana Pacers All-Star Tyrese Haliburton helped organize a title match between Trick Williams and NXT Champion Ethan Page on WWE NXT.

In addition, numerous athletes have participated in legendary fights, including Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson and Shaquille O'Neal.

Now a popular professional wrestler made a surprise appearance at an NFL game.

Spectators at Lucas Oil Stadium were treated to an additional treat when they saw former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins appear on the big screen in a Colts jersey.

However, since Rollins is an avid Bears fan, he quickly ripped it off and underneath he revealed a Caleb Williams jersey.

Fortunately, former Colts wide receiver TY Hilton was there and threw Rollins from the stands onto the field, where he was quickly taken away.

Unfortunately, the Bears then lost to the Colts 21-16, and Rollins simply wrote: “I. Hate. Football.”

Seth Rollins began his career as a professional wrestler in 2004 on the independent circuit. In 2007, he joined Ring of Honor (ROH) under the name Tyler Black. He won the ROH World Championship and the ROH World Tag Team Championship twice with Jimmy Jacobs.

Rollins signed a developmental contract with WWE in 2010 and wrestled in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). FCW was later renamed NXT, with Rollins becoming the first NXT Champion.

During his time in FCW, Rollins won the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship, the FCW Jack Brisco 15 Championship and the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship, making him the first FCW Grand Slam Champion.

Rollins then made his main roster debut in 2012 as a member of The Shield alongside Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, now known as Jon Moxley in All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

Since then, Rollins has been one of the most consistent and trusted wrestlers in the WWE locker room. This would lead to Rollins eventually becoming the first World Heavyweight Champion in 2023.

Additionally, Rollins has won the WWE Championship twice, the WWE Universal Championship twice, the WWE Intercontinental Championship twice, the WWE United States Championship twice, and the WWE Tag Team Championship six times.

Rollins is the 11th Grand Slam Champion and the second two-time Grand Slam Champion. He also won the 2015 Money in the Bank match and the 2019 Men's Royal Rumble.
