Two drivers receive tickets after traffic accident in Ontario County – Finger Lakes Daily News

Both drivers involved in a crash Saturday morning in Ontario County received tickets following an investigation by the sheriff's office.

Mary Tandle of Geneva was driving a Subaru Crosstrek southbound on State Route 64S in the town of Bristol when she attempted to turn east into a driveway without signaling. Richard Williams of Farmington was hauling a ton of rocks in a dump truck that was behind Tandle and attempted to pass her in a no-passing zone when she slowed before making the turn. The vehicles collided in the northbound lane, causing the dump truck to come to a stop on its driver's side.

The sheriff's office said both drivers received tickets following the investigation, but did not provide further details on the charges.

The fact that a defendant is accused of a crime constitutes merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
