LOGAN, Utah, September 22, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) – A motorcyclist was in critical condition Sunday evening after a collision with a car.

The 26-year-old man was taken to a hospital after the 9:22 p.m. crash at the intersection of 1400 North and 800 East, said Lt. Derek Dickey of the Logan City Police Department's public information office.

The intersection was still closed at 10:50 p.m. for investigations by the department's accident reconstruction team, he said. No information was immediately available about the car involved.

Dickey said it was not known whether the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet, “which we always recommend.” He said he had not been informed by the dispatcher and therefore could not confirm initial reports that the motorcyclist died shortly after being taken to the hospital.
