Motorcyclist killed in accident in Upstate

According to Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway of the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, on Sunday evening. The crash occurred just before 6 p.m. on Parris Bridge Road at the intersection with Fish Camp Road, Ridgeway said. According to Ridgeway, the driver of the motorcycle was attempting to turn from Fish Camp Road onto Parris Bridge Road when he was struck by a pickup truck traveling north on Parris Bridge Road. The driver of the motorcycle died at the scene. The coroner has not yet determined the identity of the victim.
