Authorities identify person killed in UTV accident

LINN COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) – The Linn County Sheriff's Office has determined the identity of a person killed in a UTV accident Saturday night.

The Linn County Sheriff's Office said that at 7:08 p.m. Saturday, emergency crews responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch in the 600 block of Wapsi Banks Road. At the scene, crews found a UTV lying on its side in a ditch.

One of the UTV drivers died of his injuries at the scene. He was identified as 27-year-old Dalton Camp of Anamosa.

A second person on the UTV was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The accident is being investigated by the Linn County Sheriff's Office.

Also responding to the scene were the Linn County Sheriff's Emergency Services, the Prairieburg and Coggon Fire Departments, and the Lifeguard Air Ambulance and Anamosa Ambulance helicopters.
