Deshaun Watson, under fire, sacked 8 times, a career high, as the Browns beat the Giants 21-15 and fell to 1-2

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The day started perfectly for the Browns, who led the way with a touchdown to defeat the winless Giants at Huntington Bank Field.

They forced a fumble on the opening kickoff and Deshaun Watson threw a 24-yard touchdown pass on the first play of the game to Amari Cooper, the same Cooper who struggled in the first two games and vowed he was “humbled and motivated” to turn things around against the Giants.

The Browns had put the Giants under pressure in New York in a minute, and the baying and jeering crowd was ready for a beating on the lakeshore after the Cowboys' 33-17 loss in the opening game. At that point, no one knew that the Browns had peaked 11 seconds into the game.
