New true crime podcast investigates contract killing site on the dark web

Kill List is a new series that tells the story of a multi-year true crime investigation centered on the dark web, but also has real-world implications and claims victims around the world.

The Wondery and Novel podcast is hosted by Carl Miller, author, technology journalist and founder of CASM, the digital research team at the think tank Demos.

The story follows Carl's journey after he first makes a disturbing discovery: a secret kill list on a dark web assassination website targeting hundreds of innocent people.

When the police decide not to investigate, Carl finds himself in a race against time. He must warn those in danger and find out the truth about the people who want to kill them. But how do you tell a complete stranger that someone ordered his murder?

As the number of cases increases rapidly around the world, Carl is increasingly forced to call on international authorities to intervene.
