Cheryl Hines celebrates birthday with daughters amid RFK Jr. sexting scandal

Cheryl Hines celebrated her 59th birthday with her daughters amid the sexting scandal between her husband Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and reporter Olivia Nuzzi.

The “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star gave fans a glimpse into her birthday celebration with her daughter Catherine Rose Young and stepdaughter Kyra Kennedy in Milan, Italy on Saturday via her Instagram story.

“Me and my girls 🥳,” Hines wrote next to a selfie with her daughters.

In another snap posted to Young's Story, Hines can be seen folding her hands as she prepares to blow out a single candle on a fruit plate.

“Happy birthday to the best mom,” wrote Catherine, whose father is Hines' ex-husband Paul Young. “I really don't know how I got so lucky.”

The “RV” actress wore a long-sleeved lace turtleneck top for the dinner outing and had her hair tied back in a bun.

Hines also appeared to be wearing her wedding ring after she was seen without it on Friday night as she left a Gucci after-party during Milan Fashion Week.

Robert, 70, was not present at his wife's banquet, although his daughter Kyra, whom he has with ex-wife Mary Richard Kennedy, was in attendance.

Hines seemed unfazed as she appeared in Milan amid sensational allegations about her husband's sexting relationship.

On Thursday, allegations emerged that Robert was having an affair with New York Magazine political correspondent Nuzzi, 31, who wrote a profile of him last year.

According to the Daily Beast, Nuzzi admitted to having a personal relationship with Robert after learning that the politician had allegedly bragged about the “intimate” pictures she had sent him.

The journalist was suspended from her position at New York Magazine. The news magazine announced that her actions represented a “violation of the magazine's standards regarding conflicts of interest and disclosures.”

Nuzzi also commented on the alleged affair in a statement on Thursday, but did not mention Robert by name.

“The nature of some communications between me and a person who was previously the subject of news coverage became personal,” she wrote, stressing that their relationship never became physical.

Nuzzi was previously engaged to fellow journalist Ryan Lizza, but the Post confirmed that they split due to the sexting scandal.

Robert, who has cheated in the past, married Hines in 2019.
