Serie A odds, tips, best bet

The story of Como 1907 is as romantic as the coastal landscape that the city calls home.

The club had to file for bankruptcy twice in the last 20 years and was auctioned off in 2017, but new investments saved the club from the brink and completely turned its fortunes around.

Como is now worth around one billion euros, is returning to Serie A for the first time since 2003 and has some stars in its squad and with coach Cesc Fabregas.

And while Como still have a long way to go before they establish themselves as one of the strong teams in Serie A, there are some encouraging signs in the club's first four games of the 2024–25 season.

The 0-2-2 (WDL) record may not seem particularly inspiring, but the only one-sided result came in the season opener away to Juventus. Como posted an expected goal difference of +1.3 in their other three games this season.

Another Champions League team, Atalanta, hosts Como on Monday in the only Serie A game of the day. At bet365, Atalanta are clear -200 favorites to win the game as of Monday morning.

There is no doubt that Atalanta are in a different league than Como, but this is a difficult schedule for La Dea.

They drew 0-0 with Arsenal in the Champions League last Thursday and have struggled to find their feet in the new season, winning two and losing two of their first four games.

Como's underlying metrics portray them as an underrated team, while Atalanta's statistical profile and game plan make them a good candidate for relegation in the short term.
