UTPD: 44 fans ejected and 15 arrested during Morgan Wallen concerts at Neyland Stadium

According to the authorities, a total of 44 fans were thrown out of the hall and 15 were arrested during the country singer's two performances.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – University of Tennessee authorities said dozens of fans were ejected from Neyland Stadium and some were arrested during Morgan Wallen's performances Friday and Sunday.

According to the University of Tennessee Police Department, a total of 15 fans were arrested. Police said officers arrested eight people on Friday and seven on Sunday. Information on the circumstances of the arrests was not immediately available.

The UTPD also announced that a total of 20 fans were expelled from the stadium on Friday and another 24 fans on Sunday, so that a total of 44 fans had to be removed from the stadium.

The university said the two performances drew 156,161 fans, setting a new record. The previous record for performances in Knoxville was set by the Jackson 5 in 1984, when the pop music group drew 148,407 fans for three performances.
