Sean “Diddy” Combs predicts his arrest in a haunting 1999 interview

Diddy charged with sex trafficking and organized crime

After Combs was arrested on the sealed indictment, the indictment was unsealed on September 17.

The 54-year-old was charged with conspiracy to commit organized crime, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution, according to court documents obtained by NBC News.

The indictment alleges that for more than a decade, Combs “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct.” Prosecutors said the alleged conduct began in about 2008.

“To do so,” the documents state, “Combs relied on the people, resources and influence of the multifaceted business empire he managed and controlled to create a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in or attempted to engage in sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice, among other things.”

According to NBC News, Combs pleaded not guilty and was denied bail.

“He will fight against it with all his energy and strength,” said his lawyer. Marc Agnifilo he told reporters outside the courthouse before the arraignment, “and enjoys the full confidence of his lawyers.”
