Training camp begins in just over a week, and Brad Stevens and the Celtics are reportedly leaving no stone unturned to complete Boston's roster.

According to Keith Smith of Spotrac, the Celtics were one of four teams to hold a workout with veteran winger Nassir Little – with the 24-year-old swingman attractive as a versatile addition further down the order.

Smith added that the Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat and Sacramento Kings have also held workouts with Little, who played five NBA seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers and Phoenix Suns.

Little played 45 games for the Suns last season, averaging 10.2 minutes per game, 3.4 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.5 assists. Phoenix released Little last month, making the former 2019 first-round pick (No. 25 overall) a free agent.

Over the course of his career, Little has averaged 5.5 points and 2.9 rebounds per game while shooting 45.2 percent from the field and 33 percent from 3-point range.

Despite his inconsistent offensive performance, Little's versatility, athleticism and defensive skills could make him an interesting option for a Celtics team that already heads into training camp with 14 players on fully guaranteed contracts.

If Boston decides to sign Little to a non-guaranteed contract, he will likely have to compete with fellow veteran Lonnie Walker IV for a spot on the roster.
