1 arrested for accident under the influence of alcohol in California, already convicted

According to Capitola Police, the crash investigation resulted in the arrest of a person who was driving under the influence of alcohol. The crash was reported around 3:06 p.m. near 600 Park Avenue. Capitola Police said the driver of a truck turned left and collided with a BMW. “The driver of the truck exhibited signs and symptoms of alcohol-related impairment and was arrested for DUI with a blood alcohol content of .19!” police said. The truck was towed and police said the driver had a previous conviction for DUI. The driver of the BMW was an adult male who was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. He was released from the hospital in stable condition and is expected to recover.

“The driver of the truck exhibited signs and symptoms of alcohol impairment and was arrested for driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of 0.19!” police said.

The truck was towed and police said the driver had previously been convicted of drunk driving.

The BMV driver was an adult male who was taken to hospital with moderate injuries. He was in stable condition and expected to recover soon.
