Benoit Saint-Denis stops Thiago Moises in the second round at UFC Paris

Benoit Saint-Denis will be back in action on September 28 when he faces Renato Moicano at UFC Fight Night at the Accor Arena in Paris. The French lightweight will face the Brazilian mixed martial artist in a five-round main event.

Benoit Saint-Denis has fought on both previous UFC Paris cards. In his Octagon appearance last September, the 28-year-old faced Thiago Moises in the evening's co-main event.

The fight did not go the full distance. Moises had to take a few low blows early in the first round. The Brazilian also suffered a large cut on his elbow. However, he fought back and landed a few heavy blows at the end of the round.

At the end of the second round, Saint-Denis dominated his opponent, pinning him to the ground and throwing punches. After ordering Moises to defend himself but seeing no response, the referee stopped the fight to save him from further punishment.

On Saturday, Benoit Saint-Denis will face Renato Moicano at UFC Paris, looking to bounce back from a loss. The Nimes native was knocked out in the second round by Dustin Poirier at UFC 299 in March, ending his five-fight winning streak.
