Suspect wanted for groping incidents outside UTEP, police ask for information

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso police announced Monday that they are investigating two cases of indecent assault – or groping – that occurred last Wednesday outside the University of Texas at El Paso.

According to EPPD, both incidents involved a suspect indecently groping a woman.

An incident that occurred while a woman was walking toward UTEP reportedly occurred on Upson Street.

The EPPD described the suspect as a white male with light skin, green eyes and short, dark blonde or reddish brown hair.

He is 1.73 m tall, weighs approximately 77 kg, is between 23 and 24 years old and was last seen wearing a backwards gray cap and carrying a gray backpack.
