Canandaigua man charged with violating protection order – Finger Lakes Daily News

The Ontario County Sheriff's Office reports the arrest of a Canandaigua man.

The arrest of Demetrius Bronson stemmed from an incident on September 7, when he allegedly violated a protection order while staying at the Brentwood Apartments in Canandaigua. Bronson was arrested without incident and transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.

Bronson was charged with criminal contempt and released on a summons to appear in Canandaigua Municipal Court.

The fact that a defendant is accused of a crime constitutes merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
