Keon Coleman of the Buffalo Bills was benched early against the Jaguars

For Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman, it was a good and a bad day against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Buffalo's second-round rookie scored his first career touchdown. It came as quite a surprise.

It wasn't because of his talent, but because he wasn't often in the spotlight in the beginning. Why was that?

It had nothing to do with performance.

Head coach Sean McDermott announced after the 47-10 win that Coleman was benched. The reason for this was because Coleman was late for the Bills' practice sessions this week, presumably at some point last week:

The Bills’ offense started with a bang.

Coleman did not play for the team in the first two drives.

Eventually he made it onto the field and his touchdown was his only catch of the game. Coleman made something of it.

Hopefully Coleman will learn from this.
