Police say drunk driving was a major factor in traffic accident on Naglee Road in Tracy

A driver hospitalized with moderate injuries after a crash in Tracy on Monday was believed to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, police said. Emergency crews responded to a rollover crash in the 2400 block of Naglee Road around 5 p.m. and found a female driver and two children, ages 13 and 14. Police said the two children are relatives of the driver. Northbound Naglee Road at Grant Line Road was closed for several hours after the crash. Police believe the woman was driving under the influence, which was “a significant factor in the crash.” After medical evaluation, police say the driver will be charged with driving under the influence and child endangerment.
