North Olmsted police arrested Ellis, 33, of Cleveland, minutes after the attack as he walked on Dover Center Road carrying the knife allegedly used in the attack.

According to North Olmsted Police Sergeant General Matthew Beck and Cuyahoga County District Attorney Michael O'Malley, Ellis stole two knives from the Volunteers of America thrift store next to Giant Eagle.

She then allegedly entered the Giant Eagle, saw the victims exit, followed them and immediately stabbed Julian, who was sitting in the shopping cart.
