The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks after overcoming an 8-0 deficit to win 10-9. The D-backs are the only NL team playing on Monday, while the Mets, Braves and Padres have a day off.

Going into the day, the Padres (90-66) hold the first wild card spot by three games. The Mets (87-69) and D-backs (87-69) are tied for the second wild card spot. The Braves (85-71) are the underdog, two games behind the Mets and D-backs for a wild card spot. The Mets have the tiebreaker against the Padres and D-backs, but the season series against the Braves is currently tied. The winner of the upcoming series in Atlanta will decide who has the tiebreaker.
