Donna Kelce spoke to Page Six about her son navigating the wild waters of celebrity rise with his girlfriend Taylor Swift.

“He's a good guy. Really. He's good,” she told the paper from the purple carpet. “He's kind. He's generous. And from what I understand, she is, too.”

Murphy spoke about Kelce's involvement in his show during a virtual press conference. He said he met with Kelce, who discussed his interest in acting. Murphy said Kelce was excited to do something since he has three months off between the Super Bowl and starting training.

Murphy said he told Kelce he would write a role specifically for him. He said Kelce then worked with an acting coach for “several months.”

“He came in without a script. He knew every line,” Murphy said via Variety. “He was so professional. He was so dedicated. He kept saying to me, 'I'm really trainable, train me, train me.' So I did that, and he ended up being a real joy.”

“I would love to continue to work with him on this and other things. I can't say enough about him as a leader. He's just the kindest, sweetest. … Everything you think about him is true.”
