Teenager arrested for attempted murder in Baltimore shooting


BALTIMORE, MD — A 16-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the Aug. 31 shooting death of a 26-year-old man in Baltimore's southern district, police confirmed.

The shooting occurred in the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road, where the victim was shot and later sought treatment at a local hospital. His condition was listed as stable. After an investigation, a warrant was issued for the juvenile suspect on September 11 and he was taken into custody on September 13. The suspect is currently being held without bail at the Central Booking Intake Facility on charges of attempted premeditated murder.

  • 18-year-old injured in shooting in Baltimore

    BALTIMORE, MD — An 18-year-old man was shot and killed late Sunday night in Baltimore’s Northern District.

    On September 22 at approximately 11:22 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 3200 block of Greenmount Avenue. Upon arrival, they found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where his injury was deemed non-life threatening.
