Pedestrian hit and injured by car in Oakland County accident: Police

WEST BLOOMFIELD, MI — A pedestrian was injured when he was struck by a car in Oakland County Monday afternoon, according to police.

According to police, the accident occurred at 3:45 p.m. in the area of Square Lake and Middlebelt Roads in West Bloomfield.

Officers took the pedestrian to a nearby hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries, but police say he is expected to survive.
