Singapore prepares for IShowSpeed’s Southeast Asia tour full of durian, tuk-tuks and PacMan

The excitement in Singapore is palpable as fans await the arrival of YouTube sensation IShowSpeed, who is on a week-long tour of Southeast Asia that has already seen him indulging in tuk-tuk stunts, performing his famous backflips and choking on durian fruits.

The American live streamer, who is currently in Indonesia, began his tour of the region on September 9 in Thailand, where he attempted to drive a three-wheeled vehicle but crashed into a temple wall, resulting in a minor head injury.

But that didn't dampen the enthusiasm of IShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jnr, as he rode elephants in the kingdom and showed off his Muay Thai skills.

The 19-year-old has more than 30 million subscribers on YouTube and enjoys a huge fan base thanks to his videos that tell real-life stories.

In the Philippines, IShowSpeed, or simply Speed, battled boxing star Manny “PacMan Pacquiao delighted his fans and called him “braver” than former boxer Floyd Mayweather.
