Hearty fireside chili and rustic baked potato

Seasonal fall menus aren't just reserved for cafes that serve pumpkin spice lattes. Starting September 18, Panera's soup menu will feature three new seasonal additions. With two brand-new soups, the hearty Fireside Chili Soup and the Rustic Baked Potato Soup, as well as a comeback of the seasonal, fan-favorite Fall Pumpkin Soup, Panera could be your go-to for soup months to come.

The Hearty Fireside Chili, as its name suggests, is designed to create a cozy fireside atmosphere and features a chili and cilantro broth with beef, roasted tomatoes and green chiles. This soup will warm you from the inside, so you don't have to eat it while you're actually sitting by the fire. If you're craving something creamy, try the Rustic Baked Potato Soup. A Monterey Jack cheese sauce pairs with homemade bacon bits, potatoes and chives—the best baked potato topping of all. For those who've been waiting for it since last fall, the Autumn Squash Soup is back. This one has all your favorite fall flavors: a creamy vegetable broth with hints of honey, apple juice and curry, simmered butternut squash and pumpkin, and roasted pumpkin seeds on top.

Panera's children's menu has also been revised

Panera Bread has also launched a new kids' menu, with two new full-size sandwiches to choose from so families get more for their money. Kids can now get a full-size turkey sandwich or a full-size ham sandwich, both with American cheese on classic white miche bread. Don't worry, your kid's cheese favorites are still there – the full-size kids' grilled cheese sandwich, kids' mac & cheese and kids' broccoli cheddar soup haven't changed.

The side options for the kids' menu have also remained the same. Kids can choose between an apple, a French baguette or chips. And, in keeping with the new “value for families” theme, participating locations are also offering a drink for just $0.89. With seasonal soups for adults and new long-standing kids' items, there's plenty on Panera's menu to keep you busy.
