FBI seizes motel in Phoenix for suspected drug offenses and money laundering

PHOENIX (AZFamily) – A Phoenix motel is set to be closed after investigators found evidence of suspected drug offenses and money laundering.

FBI and Phoenix Police agents responded to the Royal Inn near I-17 and Bethany Home Road Tuesday morning in connection with the alleged crimes.

Authorities have scheduled a press conference for this afternoon to announce the indictment of an unknown number of suspects. The seizure and closure of the Royal Inn for alleged travel law violations and money laundering offences will also be discussed.
