Help fight food shortages through 105.5 Triple M Request-A-Thon

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – You can help families in Dane County affected by food insecurity this Thursday by listening to your favorite song.

105.5 Triple M is hosting its eighth annual Request-A-Thon to benefit Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin. For a $35 donation, the radio station will play any song you request – as long as it's appropriate for the airwaves.

You can call your inquiry anytime between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at 608-204-8000.

DJs Jonathan and Kitty want you to call them to support the fight against hunger in Dane County and beyond.

“I mean, it's simple. You give us $35 and help feed hungry families in Dane County and make us sweat by playing weird songs, right, Kitty?” Jonathan said.

“Absolutely,” said Kitty. “So we hope everyone calls or donates online.”

All proceeds go directly to Second Harvest and the donation is doubled by generous sponsors.

The Request-A-Thon is part of Hunger Action Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness and combat hunger.
