Alleged victim claims “Diddy” drugged, raped and filmed her in 2001

Disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a new lawsuit in federal court as Thalia Graves accuses him of sexual assault in a 2001 incident.

The lawsuit, filed by well-known victim's rights attorney Gloria Allred, alleges that Combs drugged and raped Graves and then recorded the assault and shared it with others.

Graves, now 48, says she met Combs through her boyfriend, who worked for Combs' Bad Boy Records. She says she felt dizzy after accepting a glass of wine from the rapper and later woke up bound, naked and distressed in a Manhattan music studio. She claims Combs, along with his bodyguard, brutally attacked her, inflicting both psychological and physical trauma.

The video of the assault reportedly surfaced in November 2023. Allred claimed the footage was shown to several people and even sold. Graves is now demanding compensation for her suffering and the destruction of all copies of the recording.

“I had PTSD, depression and anxiety,” Graves said. “Nightmares and intrusive thoughts make it a constant struggle, and I was dealing with physical issues like chronic pain and malaise.”

Combs is currently incarcerated in New York City on a variety of charges, including sex trafficking, kidnapping and organized crime. He is also named in ten civil lawsuits alleging various forms of sexual misconduct and other criminal activity.

“I'm glad he's locked up, but this is only a temporary sense of relief,” Graves added.

Allred expressed her determination to bring the Graves case before a jury.

“We believe that the victims should not be ashamed,” Allred said, “but that those who committed the crimes against them should be ashamed and take responsibility.”
