Cleburne woman stabs father-in-law, charged with murder

CLEBURNE, Texas – Jennifer Lynn Brabbin, 41, of Cleburne was arrested and charged with murder for killing her father-in-law, Robert Brabbin, Tuesday morning.

According to Cleburne Police, Cleburne Fire Department officers and crews responded to an active disturbance in the 700 block of Miracle Lane at approximately 9:53 a.m.

On the way to the crime scene, officers learned that it had been a stabbing, police said.

According to police, Jennifer Brabbin was immediately arrested and Robert Brabbin was taken to Texas Health Cleburne Walls Hospital with serious stab wounds. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Cleburne police said Jennifer Brabbin was booked into the Johnson County Law Enforcement Center on a murder charge and is awaiting arraignment.
