Tornado warnings in Michiana and damage reports after possible tornado in LaGrange County

(WNDU) – Residents of LaGrange County are busy cleaning up after a suspected tornado tore through the county Tuesday evening.

There were also tornado warnings for Cass County, Michigan and St. Joseph County, Indiana.

Our team went to the 2900 block of East 300 South in LaGrange County, where we found apparent damage to several buildings as well as downed trees and power lines.

We were also able to witness live the immediate reaction of the teams and residents who helped with the clean-up efforts.

WNDU First Alert Chief Meteorologist Matt Engelbrecht kept the public updated with live reports throughout the day and early evening.
