UFC Contender Series results, live coverage and all fight highlights | Season 8, Episode 7

The time has come!

Contender Series continues for 10 weeks of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) action. Week five ends tonight at 8pm ET on ESPN+ from inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, in front of the UFC CEO, Dana Whiteas well as his cadre of matchmakers.

As has become standard on this program lately, all four fighters received UFC contracts last week.

In the main event tonight, heavyweight champion Cage Fury FC (CFFC) and Bailey Schoenfelder (5-0), faces Ukraine Danylo Voevodkin (6-0), who has had six finishes and has never fought for more than three minutes. In the co-main event, the Romanian knockout artist Daniel Frunza (8-2) and Vadym Kutsyi (17-1) — who appears to be the second fighter from Belarus to make it to the UFC — meet in a welterweight bout. The “featured” fight has light heavyweights as Francesco Mazzeo (4-0) meets Kevin Christian (8-2). Kevin Vallejos (13-1) returns and seeks a contract against Cam Teague (7-0) and Strawweights start the match as LFA champion. Rose Conceicao (7-0), fights Alexia Thainara (10-1).
