Man from northern state dies in hospital days after accident, coroner says

The Spartanburg County coroner said a man died in the hospital days after an accident.

The Spartanburg County Coroner said a man died in the hospital days after an accident. Spartanburg Coroner Rusty Clevenger said his office was called to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where they identified Noah Alexander Schlitt, 25, of Spartanburg. Clevenger said Schlitt was taken away by ambulance on Sept. 19 from an accident that occurred at the corner of Howard Street and Fremont Avenue in the Spartanburg metropolitan area. Clevenger said Schlitt's time of death was 4:55 p.m. Tuesday. Spartanburg police are leading the investigation.

SPARTANBURG, SC —

The Spartanburg County coroner said a man died in the hospital days after an accident.

Spartanburg Coroner Rusty Clevenger said his office was called to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where they identified 25-year-old Noah Alexander Schlitt of Spartanburg.

Clevenger said Schlitt was transported by emergency medical services on Sept. 19 from an accident that occurred at the corner of Howard Street and Fremont Avenue in the Spartanburg area.

According to Clevenger, Schlitt's time of death was 4:55 p.m. on Tuesday.

The Spartanburg City Police Department is leading the investigation.
