At least one person injured, vehicle demolished in accident in South Lincoln

A vehicle was damaged in an accident at the corner of 14th Street and Cushman Drive on Tuesday evening.

LINCOLN, Nebraska (KLKN) — At least one person was injured in a crash in southwest Lincoln Tuesday evening.

The accident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. at the corner of 14th Street and Cushman Drive, near Old Cheney Road.

A reporter from Channel 8 saw a wrecked vehicle at the scene. One car was towed away.

Lincoln police said one person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is unknown.
