This development follows Diddy's indictment in New York, where he was charged with organized crime, sex trafficking and transportation of prostitutes. Diddy could potentially spend decades behind bars.

The allegations against Diddy came six months after federal agents raided his Los Angeles and Miami mansions and seized more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricants allegedly used in the “Freak-Off” sessions.

Prosecutors alleged that during the “freak-offs,” Diddy drugged women and then forced them to have prolonged sexual intercourse with male prostitutes.

Diddy's former bodyguard says: “This is all bigger than …”

According to Diddy's former bodyguard, who provided him security in the 1990s, the disgraced rap mogul kept tapes of politicians attending his infamous “Freak Off” sessions. Gene Deal believes his arrest is related to a corruption scandal rocking New York politics.

During his appearance on the podcast “The Art of Dialogue,” Deal explained that the prosecution of the producer would expose prominent figures and celebrities in the Big Apple.

He stated, “This is all bigger than Diddy,” without giving further details about the alleged tapes.

When asked if the alleged “freak-off” tapes featured any famous people, Deal replied: “(Diddy) has thrown celebrity parties, so what do you think?”

He pointed out that prosecutors in California had refrained from filing charges despite allegations of criminal misconduct in the lawsuits, one of which was filed by Diddy's ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

Deal stressed that the charges were brought in New York, pointing out that they were linked to a series of resignations and corruption allegations in the Big Apple's authorities. “People won't connect them.”

The bodyguard claimed that Diddy was a victim of other influential players in the music industry early in his career, adding: “Puff wasn't born a monster, he was made into a monster” because of “what happened to him.”

“To put it bluntly, he did to other people what was done to him… that is a learned behavior,” he added.

He called the rapper's high-profile arrest a result of his “karma” (his actions) and said Diddy's incarceration would be remembered as “one of the greatest tragedies” in hip-hop history.
