Flack Broadcasting – Webb police arrest, charge suspect with false reporting of incident

THENDARA- Authorities in the western Adirondacks have charged a suspect with falsely reporting an incident.

Alyssa M. Case (no age or address given) was arrested by the Town of Webb Police Department on September 10. Case is officially charged with a misdemeanor of third-degree false report of an incident.

According to police, investigators were investigating a Sept. 9 911 call and a subsequent in-person report Case made to police late that night in Thendara, NY.

Through investigation, it was determined that Case knew the information she reported to Herkimer County 9-1-1 and Webb Police was false, yet she reported the information in hopes of getting a ride home from police.

Case will answer the charges at a later date in Webb Municipal Court.
