One person injured in rollover accident between car and house on Highway 25 early Wednesday

CROSS PLAINS, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A local man is lucky to be alive after his vehicle went off the road, rolled over and crashed into a Cross Plains home early Wednesday. The accident occurred on Highway 25 at Meadowview Court, and the first 911 call came in at 12:35 a.m. ACCIDENT LOCATION

The 26-year-old driver was trapped in the vehicle and had to be freed by the Cross Plains Fire Department. According to Cross Plains Fire Chief Tommy Jackson, despite the dramatic nature of the accident, the driver did not suffer any life-threatening injuries. He was taken to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville with non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the accident was not initially known.

The home sustained minimal damage and no one inside was injured. First responders from the Cross Plains Fire Department, Robertson County EMS, Robertson County Sheriff's Office and Tennessee Highway Patrol (which is investigating the accident) arrived at the scene.
