Suspect arrested in Pittsburgh after fatal shooting and arson in Maryland

46-year-old Nikolas Patrick James is currently awaiting extradition

The suspect in a fatal shooting and arson in Maryland was arrested in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Nikolas Patrick James, 46, was taken into custody in the 1100 block of Banksville Road. James was wanted for the shooting death of a woman in Kitzmiller, Maryland. After the shooting, James allegedly set fire to the woman's home. Pittsburgh Public Safety said James is currently awaiting extradition to Maryland.

The suspect in a fatal shooting and arson in Maryland was arrested in Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

Nikolas Patrick James, 46, was taken into custody in the 1100 block of Banksville Road.

James was wanted in the shooting death of a woman in Kitzmiller, Maryland.

After the shooting, James is said to have set fire to the woman's house.
