Woman accused of threatening a school in Montgomery County faces trial

Charges are being filed against a woman accused of threatening a Montgomery County school district.

Rayona Hunt, 23, was arraigned Monday in Vandalia Municipal Court on charges that include making terroristic threats, creating fear and obstructing official business, according to online court records.

As previously reported by News Center 7She was identified by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office following terrorist threats at Harrison Township and Dayton public schools.

A 13-year-old student was also taken into custody on suspicion of making threats. The public prosecutor's office is currently reviewing charges against the student.

LATEST STORIES:

Hunt was arrested Thursday and booked into the Montgomery County Jail.

Online jail records show bail was set at $250,000 for each crime charged.

Her next court date is scheduled for September 30.
