“Today's nonsense comes at a time when schools not only in Flagler County but across the state are facing often unfounded threats of violence at schools,” said Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly. “Parents, be the sheriff of your house so I don't have to be. We have zero tolerance for threats. Teach your children how to properly handle the ups and downs of life, relationships and disagreements. This will help them throughout their lives and prevent them from being arrested. We hate to arrest your son or daughter, but if you threaten violence at a school in Flagler County, you will be arrested, regardless of how old you are.”
