Joe Biden to appear on “The View” on Wednesday

Joe Biden will be a studio guest on ABC’s The view on Wednesday, in the first live appearance of a sitting president on the show.

This will also be Biden's first television interview since the first night of the Democratic National Convention in August and the ABC News presidential debate featuring Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.

Biden is traveling to New York today for the United Nations General Assembly.

Barack Obama was the first sitting president to The view on July 29, 2010, but his guest appearance was pre-recorded.

This will be Biden's tenth appearance on the show; the last was on March 24, 2020, when he was vice president and in the midst of his campaign for the White House.

The view is now in its 28th season.
