Where to buy, best prices

Less than a year ago, Sabrina Carpenter opened for Taylor Swift on the international leg of her “Eras Tour.”

A lot has changed since then.

After the release of her mega singles “Espresso” and “Please Please Please” – some call them the songs of the summer – she became a real headliner herself.

On Sunday, September 29, Carpenter will bring her own international “Short n' Sweet Tour” to Madison Square Garden in New York City, along with special guest Amaarae.

The following evening, Monday, September 30, the “Taste” singer enters the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for an encore in the Big Apple.

These back-to-back performances will be the fourth and fifth shows of the sprawling intercontinental tour; the first concert took place at Nationwide Arena in Columbus and was reportedly a three-act smash.

“OPENING NIGHT WAS SURE TO BE SWEET,” Carpenter shared on Instagram. “Thank you Columbus for a sold out show and for dressing up and singing every single word.”

If you want to dress up and sing along to Taylor Swift's previous opener, last-minute tickets are still available for the two big arena shows.

At the time of publication, the cheapest tickets for the MSG show at Vivid Seats were $314 before fees.

Seating at Barclays Center starts at $258 before fees.

Sabrina Carpenter new music

On Friday, August 23, Carpenter released her sixth studio album, Short n' Sweet.

With a running time of just 36 minutes, the record is short and sweet, but also cheeky and seductive. It's a big step forward for the aspiring pop star. In our opinion, traces of folk, R&B, synth rock and country line the sonically adventurous album.

Standout tracks—aside from the ubiquitous and exuberant “Espresso” and “Please Please Please”—include the somber, chillwave-esque “Don't Smile,” the charming “Slim Pickins” (this song is perhaps the very definition of demure), and the self-righteous “Taste.”

Don't miss the dreamy Olivia Rodrigo-esque “Lie To Girls.” The haunting lyrics are also a punch in the gut. “You don’t have to lie to girls/ If they like you/ Then they’ll just lie to themselves” will be buzzing around in our heads for months, rent-free, and for good reason: It's a blow.

You can find “Short n' Sweet” here.

Amarae

The 30-year-old R&B singer has already released two studio albums: “The Angel You Don't Know” (2020) and “Fountain Baby” (2023).

If you've never heard them before, we recommend starting with their hit “Sad Gurlz Luz Money” and then trying the bold “Angels In Tibet” and the gentle “sweeeet.”

You can find their entire discography here.
