Dennis Quaid says he regrets “nothing” about his marriage to Meg Ryan

The Reagan actor was recently interviewed on Who's Talking to Chris Wallace?, where host Chris Wallace asked him if the spotlight – and reputation as one of “Hollywood's golden couples” – had affected their relationship. The pair were married from 1991 to 2001.

“When I met Meg, I was here in terms of my career and she was here,” Quaid recalled, holding a hand representing himself over his hand representing Ryan. “And then it was just [switched] like this,” he added, changing the position of his hands.

“I try to be a big person and tell myself it didn't bother me, but people are human,” Quaid said at the time of his ex-wife's rising popularity. “It rose when I went to rehab.”
