Sean Payton continues to build up the New Orleans Broncos/Denver Saints in his new home. The former head coach of the New Orleans Saints has continuously brought his former players to the Denver Broncos. The most recent example is Kwon Alexander. He was signed for the Broncos training team

Former Saints wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey was also on the practice squad but was promoted to permanent prior to Week 3 due to injury. With the addition of Alexander, there are now a total of eight former Saints players in Denver. Topping the list are Wil Lutz, Adam Trautman and Malcolm Roach. Also included are Humphrey, Jordan Jackson, Lucas Krull and Calvin Throckmorton, all of whom are on the active roster.

This isn't the first time Payton has given Alexander a chance. Alexander was with New Orleans for the final two seasons of Payton's tenure. At the time, Alexander was recovering from an injury and saw his role in San Francisco.

Payton obviously liked the dynamic Alexander brought to New Orleans. We'll see if Alexander makes the lineup when the Broncos visit the Saints on October 17.
