Hoover man accused of contract killing of his wife and six children

HOOVER, Alabama (WBRC) – A Hoover man is accused of trying to hire someone to murder his family.

Mohammad AH Mohammed is accused of misusing interstate commerce facilities to commit a contract killing.

Mohammed is the owner of American Plumbing Service LLC in Homewood.

According to court documents, Mohammed, 63, contacted someone and repeatedly asked them to find someone to “take care of” his wife and six adult children.

The contact informed law enforcement and an undercover FBI agent posing as a hitman.

Mohammed is said to have offered the undercover agent $20,000 to murder his wife and an additional $5,000 for each of his six children.

According to court documents, he also showed the hitman pictures of his family's cars that he had set on fire.
